- Uganda (UWA): Foreign non-residents $800; Foreign residents $700; East African citizens UGX 300,000 (~$80); Other African citizens ~$500.
- Rwanda (RDB): Foreign non-residents $1,500; Foreign residents/African citizens $500; East African citizens $200.

To initiate and complete your gorilla permit booking, please provide the following as soon as possible:
- Full names (exactly as they appear in your passport).
- Passport number (including issuing country and expiry date).
- Date of birth and nationality.
- Preferred trekking dates (specific day for the gorilla trek on Day 2 of your safari; we recommend a range of 2–3 dates for flexibility).
- Email address and phone number for confirmations.
- Proof of payment for the permit fee
